As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scooping delicious ice cream flavors, and creating a memorable experience for our customers. We are looking for someone who is eager to work in a team setting, can multitask, and who stays calm under pressure.

Hours & Schedule:

12-20hrs a week Day Shifts (11am-3pm, 3pm-7pm) & Evening Shifts (6:30-10:30pm)

• Required Friday & Saturdays
• Required Evening shifts (Min 3/week)
• 4hr & 8hr shifts available
• Flexible and consistent schedule available

Responsibilities:

• Scoop and serve a variety of ice cream flavors to customers with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ice cream station
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines at all times
• Demonstrate efficient time management to ensure prompt service during peak hours
• Maintain a calm and focused mindset while the shop is busy and you are surrounded by multiple team members

Requirements:

• Must be 16 or older
• Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, assist customers, and navigate job responsibilities with the manager
• Knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to uphold hygiene standards
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to help create a positive atmosphere for customers
• Exceptional cleaning skills and knowledge
