Job Description
Utah Valley University is seeking a student to join the Campus store team! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Must have current Food Handlers Permit or be able to acquire one within 2 weeks of being hired. Responsible for stocking product, scooping ice cream, and cleaning. Cashier will be accountable for cash and other transactions. Must balance cash tray at the end of the shift. Must be a current UVU Student. Must have at least 3 months of cashiering experience. Must have Fall 2026 Class Schedule. Must have a current Food Handlers Permit or be able to acquire one within 2 weeks of being hired. Employees will be required to know the duties of cashiers, customer service, and sales. Must have excellent customer service skills and handle stress well. 10 key and accounting skills may be helpful. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to be on time for work.
