Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling orders, packaging food items, and maintaining food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities by recommending popular or new products to customers. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining surfaces, and equipment such as kitchen appliances and POS terminals. Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling protocols and sanitation guidelines. Restock supplies regularly to ensure the availability of products for customers during busy hours. Assist with bussing tables or cleaning dining areas to uphold a clean and inviting environment for guests. Operate kitchen equipment safely when involved in food prep activities, adhering to all safety procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Food safety knowledge or experience with food handling procedures is desirable but can be learned on the job. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
