Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier and become the friendly face that enhances every customer's shopping experience! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping journey Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity Assist customers with product information, including conducting product demos when appropriate Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support upselling efforts by recommending additional items that meet customer needs Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Manage stock levels and assist with inventory counts to ensure product availability Demonstrate strong communication skills to resolve customer questions and concerns effectively Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising Excellent communication skills to engage with customers confidently and professionally Experience supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous but not mandatory Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail career!
