Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Bobarista to join our team at our vibrant café. The ideal candidate will have a love for drinks and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bobarista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and bowls according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order taking and payment processing. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas, serving stations, and dining spaces. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and ensure accurate transactions during cashiering duties. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while promoting sales through effective communication. Qualifications Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices related to food preparation and handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
