From $15.00 per hour Tom Leonard's Farmers Market is looking for friendly, energetic Cashiers who love people and thrive in a fast-paced, team environment. Our Cashiers play a key role in delivering that experience. What you'll do: Accurately scan and weigh items while completing customer transactions efficiently Accept and verify all forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and checks Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and going above and beyond to "wow" them Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front end area Assist other departments with stocking, signage, and general support during slower periods Ensure all items are properly accounted for in each transaction Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards Support the team with additional tasks as needed What we're looking for: A positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with people Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Reliability and a willingness to follow direction Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and a variety of shifts Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with some light lifting Attention to detail and comfort handling cash accurately Basic familiarity with produce is helpful but not required You'll work alongside a supportive team, build relationships with regular customers, and be part of a store that is known for its personality, quality, and customer experience.
