Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales transactions Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries or demos when needed Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products Upsell additional items or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and practicing polite phone etiquette Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising efforts Requirements Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a bilingual setting is a plus Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate transactions and inventory management Demonstrated professionalism with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Join our team as a Cashier if you're energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
