Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately, managing retail sales transactions efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. Handle cash drawer with care, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times. Assist customers with product inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations and product demos when needed. Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, restocking supplies and merchandising as necessary. Communicate effectively with customers using phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remotely. Support stock management activities by stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure an inviting store environment. Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with POS systems and retail math to handle transactions accurately. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales calculations. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team.
