The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers while accurately processing transactions. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. Accurately process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all items are scanned correctly. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity. Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. Upsell products when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
