Job Summary The Cashier Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the cashier team and supporting smooth, efficient front-end operations. This role includes leading, training, and supporting cashiers, ensuring accurate transactions, maintaining high customer service standards, and addressing register-related issues. The Cashier Team Leader works closely with store management to support team performance, achieve store goals, and provide a positive shopping experience for customers. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support cashiers to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient checkout operations. Assist with complex customer transactions, including refunds, voids, exchanges, and payment discrepancies. Ensure cashiers follow store policies and procedures related to transactions, returns, exchanges, and promotional discounts. Address and resolve customer questions, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Travel to and work at other store locations as needed. Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed. Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support and motivate team members. Proficiency in handling cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems with accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and effectively lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Must have open availability, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
