Ray's Wine & Spirits is Hiring Cashiers, Deli, and Beer Stocking Associates for our Mequon location. Join the team at Ray's Wine and Spirits, Wisconsin's finest full-service wine, spirits, and craft beer shop, established in 1961!

Roles Available:

Cashier:

• Be the face of Ray's—greet every guest as they enter and create a warm, welcoming environment.
• Customer service at its best—answer phones, direct guests to the right team member, and make sure customers get the help and recommendations they need.
• Checkout expertise—guide guests smoothly and efficiently through the purchase process.
• Order fulfillment—accept online orders, process them, and prepare them for pickup.
• Cash handling leadership—open registers and balance drawers daily, perform cash drops throughout the day, and ensure accuracy at every step.
• Support & teamwork—partner with fellow Ray's staff across retail, events, and customer experience to deliver top-notch service.

Hybrid Deli and Bartender:

Ray's Delicatessen is part of the Ray's Wine & Spirits family and will be a new gathering spot in Mequon, located within Ray's Wine and Spirits. Our concept blends a neighborhood deli feel with a modern twist—featuring artisan meat & cheese platters, curated small-plate snacks, and a rotating selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Guests can enjoy drinks and bites in a casual yet elevated setting, or book private events that showcase Ray's hospitality and beverage expertise.

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient bar service, including pouring wine, beer, spirits, and crafting simple cocktails.
• Prepare and serve charcuterie boards, small plates, and packaged deli items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar and deli area.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming and professional manner, creating a warm Ray's experience.
• Support private events at Ray's Delicatessen and other Ray's hospitality spaces (set-up, bartending, breakdown).
• Handle transactions accurately through POS and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws.
• Assist in inventory management and stocking of beverages, deli items, and supplies.

Part-time Beer Stocking Associate:

We are looking for a beer-centric stocking associate to assist our loyal customers with all their craft beer needs and to occasionally cashier on day or night shifts at our Mequon location. A qualified candidate will be 21 or older, reliable, able to work well with our close-knit team, and have general knowledge of the craft beer industry. In addition to providing outstanding and courteous customer service, this candidate will be able to assist with cashiering, manage displays, organize shelves, and consistently lift barrels. Nights and weekends are required, along with some major holidays. Hiring immediately.

Pay:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
