Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring products are properly stocked and merchandised Upsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with merchandising efforts Engage in basic retail math to ensure accurate cash handling and register balancing Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus Supervising experience in retail or customer service environments is advantageous Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and provide excellent customer service in a grocery store setting Experience in product demos, upselling, merchandising, stocking, or grocery store operations is beneficial Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail transactions and cash handling tasks Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while honing your retail expertise!
