Job Description

SUMMARY Handles financial transactions, makes reservations for the Golf Course.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets and assists all guests entering or leaving the Golf Course. Checks in golf patrons and assigns starting point in a timely manner. Process sales through the POS system for merchandise, food and beverage items and fees for golf. Keep the merchandise, food and beverage shelves stocked at all times. Keep the Pro Shop neat, clean and orderly condition. Keep the golf cart fleet clean and orderly throughout the day. Ensures organization and cleanliness of all work areas. Complies with all reasonable requests made by management. Other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Director of Golf Operations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times. Must exhibit a friendly and outgoing disposition at all times. The ability to work in a fast -paced environment and stressful situations. Must be able to operate office equipment and multi-line phones. The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner. You will need to be available to work all shifts. You must be at least 18 years old. You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
