Job Summary Join our dynamic Cafe team as a Cashier, where your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. In this energetic role, you'll handle transactions efficiently, provide exceptional customer service, and support store operations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping environment. Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demos when needed Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and confidence Upsell products by recommending relevant items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Deliver food to customers and clean tables. Closing Cafe including cleaning and organizing. Requirements Previous cashiering experience in Cafe environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings (additional languages are a plus) Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead team members during shifts is advantageous Knowledge of POS systems, cashier procedures, and retail math principles Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence Multi tasking should be required.
