Job Description

Agency Liaison About Flash Flash builds AI-powered investigative software purpose-built for law enforcement. Our product suite, including Flash GPT, Flash PD, and Flash Signal, helps police departments, sheriff's offices, and public safety agencies move faster and investigate smarter. We're an Ohio-based company expanding our sales team and looking for a driven, detail-oriented professional to help bring our technology to agencies across your assigned territory. Position Overview The Agency Liaison is the front line of Flash's sales pipeline. This role is responsible for identifying, researching, and engaging prospective law enforcement agencies, qualifying their interest, and scheduling product demonstrations. The Agency Liaison is typically the first point of contact a prospective agency has with Flash, making this a highly visible, relationship-driving role. You'll build a strong working knowledge of all three Flash products and learn to speak fluently with police chiefs, sheriffs, IT directors, and command staff about how Flash can support their investigations. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Outreach Research and build targeted lists of law enforcement agencies (municipal PDs, county sheriff offices, state agencies, federal task forces) across your assigned territory. Identify key decision-makers within target agencies, including chiefs, sheriffs, deputy directors, and IT leads. Execute multi-channel outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to engage cold and warm prospects, and respond promptly to inbound interest. Maintain a high-quality, up-to-date prospect database in the CRM. Qualification & Demo Scheduling Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess agency interest, budget authority, decision-making process, and timeline. Schedule qualified product demonstrations directly onto the master calendar, ensuring each meeting includes a clear pre-call brief. Coordinate scheduling and any reschedules between prospects and the sales team to keep the calendar running smoothly. Follow up consistently and professionally with prospects who have gone quiet or delayed a decision. Product Knowledge Develop and maintain a strong working understanding of all three Flash products (Flash GPT, Flash PD, and Flash Signal) sufficient to qualify prospects and represent Flash's value clearly and credibly. Stay current on product updates and positioning as communicated by the team. Collaboration Work closely with the Solutions Specialist to align scheduling with active pipeline priorities and ensure every demo is well-prepared. Provide regular feedback on common objections, competitive mentions, and agency pain points observed in the field. Participate in pipeline reviews and contribute to team forecasting discussions. Qualifications Required 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or outbound sales role. Demonstrated ability to conduct high-volume outreach and consistently hit or exceed activity and pipeline targets. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage confidently with senior public safety leaders. Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder organizations such as government agencies and municipalities. Highly organized with strong time management; able to manage a large prospect pipeline and a shared calendar simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and outreach platforms. Preferred Prior experience selling into government, public safety, or law enforcement sectors. Familiarity with law enforcement agency structures, procurement processes, and budget cycles. Experience with AI, SaaS, or data software sales.
