This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy being outdoors, meeting new people, and having conversations with members of the community. As a Canvasser, you will go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods and speak with residents about important community issues. You will follow a provided script, collect information and feedback, and accurately record the results of your conversations. Responsibilities Knock on doors in assigned neighborhoods Speak with residents in a friendly and professional manner Follow the provided script and talking points Collect and accurately record information from conversations Meet daily outreach goals Communicate regularly with your supervisor and team Follow all safety guidelines and field procedures Represent the organization professionally while working in the community Qualifications Good communication skills Reliable and punctual Comfortable speaking with people Able to walk for several hours No experience required / training provided
