Job Description

Grassroots Associate - Political Canvasser for Canvass America As a canvasser for Canvass America, you will partner with Americans for Prosperity by working to advance limited-government policies and candidates. You will connect with voters through door-to-door conversations, surveys, and community engagement.
Position Overview:
Canvass America is seeking energetic individuals to connect directly with voters through door-to-door canvassing. This role focuses on advancing limited-government, freedom-based policies and candidates by engaging in meaningful, respectful conversations and conducting issue-based surveys in local communities. Training is provided. Some transferable experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct voter surveys and engage residents in persuasive conversations to support freedom-oriented policies and candidates. Deliver exceptional constituent engagement and foster positive interactions at the door. Demonstrate integrity, respect, and civility in all voter and community interactions. Stay informed on current political issues, trends, and events.
Requirements:
Ability to walk 5-7 miles per shift, occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Strong interpersonal skills and comfort speaking with strangers. Availability to work at least 20 hours per week. Reliable transportation and a smartphone or tablet.
