Job Description

Canvass America is hiring canvassers to work alongside LIBRE Initiative teams in Tucson, Arizona. Engage voters and advance public policy through door-to-door canvassing in support of limited government, pro-freedom initiatives. Hiring urgently — flexible schedule and competitive pay. About

is embedded in Latino communities across 13 states and we hear you! We focus on the key issues Hispanics care most about and successfully drive change through advocacy, educational programs and research. Together we can break down political barriers that get in the way of Latinos achieving their unique American Dream Role Overview As a Grassroots Associate, you will engage voters on critical public policy and political issues—such as protecting individual liberty and freedom—through door-to-door grassroots canvassing efforts in the greater Tucson, Arizona area. This is a temporary, part-time contracted position working with LIBRE Initiative teams through Canvass America, the third-party employer for this position. How You Will Contribute Engage in door-to-door canvassing, discussing LIBRE Initiative's policy and political agenda with voters. Provide logistical support for LIBRE Initiative's grassroots organizing, door-to-door campaigns, and community engagement initiatives. Share feedback with LIBRE Initiative staff regarding survey responses and messaging effectiveness. What You Will Need A strong commitment to LIBRE Initiative's mission to break down political barriers that get in the way of Latinos achieving their unique American Dream. Excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss challenging public policy ideas openly and respectfully. Ability to walk 2-4 miles per day, climb a flight of stairs (reasonable accommodation available) and spend a significant amount of time outdoors in various weather conditions. Availability to complete 20 hours per week. Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Standout Candidates Will Also Have experience in grassroots organizing, community engagement, door-to-door sales, and/or political campaigns. Possess knowledge of the public policy landscape in Tucson area. Spanish is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly rates. Flexible work schedule.
