Turn that interest into paid, resume-building experience. We're growing our North Hollywood fundraising team and looking for outgoing, socially aware people to represent leading international human rights and humanitarian organizations through face-to-face outreach across the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles. As a Face-to-Face Fundraiser / Canvasser , you'll speak with members of the public about urgent nonprofit campaigns, explain why the work matters, and invite people to support it by becoming recurring donors. Depending on the campaign you're assigned to, you could be raising awareness and support for work involving: Migrants' and refugees' rights Human rights protections and access to due process Emergency food, clean water, shelter, and medical assistance Communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and natural disasters Long-term, locally led humanitarian and community development programs Campaign assignments may change based on the needs of our nonprofit partners. Most of our current openings are on our street fundraising team, where fundraisers work in busy public spaces and community locations. Depending on campaign needs, availability, and team fit, some new hires may instead join our door-to-door fundraising team, speaking with people in neighborhoods across Los Angeles. Both are real, hourly paid fundraising positions. This is not volunteer petitioning, commission-only work, or a desk job. If you're social, energetic, interested in the issues affecting your community, and looking for work where you can build valuable experience, you might be a great fit.
