In this role, you will connect with voters face-to-face in public spaces and collect signatures in support of common sense ballot initiatives. Key Responsibilities Use communication skills to clearly explain the purpose of the petitions and answer basic questions Set up at high-traffic locations to maximize visibility Friendly and professional public interaction Follow campaign guidelines for ethical signature gathering Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old (required) Must be a US citizen (required) Comfortable engaging with people Prior experience in canvassing, signature gathering, or outreach is helpful but not required Reliable, honest, and able to work independently Willingness to work in various environments Some campaigns may require a background check prior to assignment Pay This is a performance-based position , paid per signature collected. $3 per valid signature . We are hiring for several statewide petitions. Many circulators earn approximately $60-$100+ per hour equivalent in average conditions, with higher earnings possible in strong high-traffic locations. Performance bonuses possible on some campaigns. Travel and lodging assistance is not provided — applicants must be local or able to arrange their own housing and transportation. Training Brief Petition Circulator Training online is required. It takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. Petition Circulator Training covers signature collection rules, ethical guidelines, and best practices for petition circulation.
