This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales, community engagement, and communication skills while working outdoors in a lively, fast-paced environment. As a key representative, you will promote our organization's mission through direct interaction, fostering meaningful conversations and building trust with community members. Paid training is provided to ensure your success from day one! Duties Conduct face-to-face outreach by walking door-to-door within designated neighborhoods to introduce our programs or services. Engage in conversational interactions with residents, clearly communicating the value of our offerings and answering questions confidently. Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, track progress, and update contact information efficiently. Employ persuasive negotiation skills to encourage participation or support for our initiatives while respecting individual choices. Build rapport through active listening, demonstrating excellent customer service and community engagement skills. Maintain safety protocols during outdoor work, including proper use of equipment and awareness of surroundings. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet outreach goals and share insights on community feedback. Qualifications Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor marketing activities. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in team coordination roles. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with a broader range of community members. Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Experience in fundraising, community engagement, telemarketing, or face-to-face customer service is beneficial. Proficiency with mobile devices for data entry and communication purposes is required.
