Position Summary As a Residential Security Solutions Advisor, you will be responsible for generating your own sales opportunities through door-to-door prospecting, neighborhood canvassing, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach. You will meet directly with homeowners, identify security concerns, and design customized solutions that provide safety, convenience, and peace of mind. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals who enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, creating opportunities, and controlling their own success. Responsibilities Prospect for new business through door-to-door canvassing, neighborhood outreach, referrals, networking, and cold calling. Generate and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. Meet with homeowners to evaluate security, surveillance, automation, and life safety needs. Conduct in-home consultations and product demonstrations. Design customized solutions including burglar alarm systems, video surveillance systems, smart home devices, and monitoring services. Educate customers on available technology and recommend solutions tailored to their needs. Manage sales opportunities, follow-up activities, and customer communications through company CRM software. Negotiate agreements and close sales while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals. Represent Laswell professionally throughout the community. Compensation This is a commission-only sales position. The compensation range listed on Indeed represents estimated annual earnings and is not a guaranteed salary or hourly wage. Laswell provides paid training for up to eight (8) weeks to help new advisors develop the product knowledge, prospecting skills, sales techniques, and technology expertise needed for success. Following the training period, compensation transitions to a commission-only structure. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout assigned territories. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable engaging homeowners through door-to-door prospecting and cold outreach. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset. Excellent organization and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous sales experience is preferred but not required. Experience in door-to-door sales, home improvement sales, telecommunications sales, security sales, or related industries is a plus. Training & Development Laswell is committed to helping every advisor succeed. New team members participate in a structured onboarding and training program covering: Residential security systems Video surveillance solutions Smart home automation Prospecting and lead generation strategies In-home consultations and sales presentations Company software and CRM tools Field training and ride-alongs Paid training is provided for up to eight (8) weeks depending on experience and progress. $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
