Join Our Team:
Manager for our Michigan paid canvass program. This program will focus on supporting progressive candidates primarily in the Detroit metro area, with a focus on turning out diverse communities to vote in the August primaries. The Canvass Manager will be responsible for hiring, managing, and deploying a team of paid canvassers in the Detroit area. They will be managing the materials and people for the program, including distributing palm cards, cutting turf, and working with Unity and Justice Fund leadership to ensure success of the program and that all metrics are hit. The ideal candidate will possess these qualities: A strong eye for quality talent Familiarity with the political landscape of the Detroit area Experience running political canvassing programs at scale Ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends Experience hiring and managing a team Desired Qualifications include: 1 or more cycles of political campaign experience in a field or organizing role Proficiency in VAN/Votebuilder and MiniVAN Familiarity with door to door canvassing techniques and training A passion for progressive change Located within or willing to commute to the Detroit area Ability to drive and valid drivers license Fluency in a second language, particularly Arabic, is a plus
Pay:
