Job Description

Emmphasis Hospitality LLC is seeking dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Voter Initiative Personnel (VIPs) to lead localized door-to-door petition and community engagement efforts in Lincoln, NE. In this role, you will walk designated residential neighborhoods, engage directly with local voters, collect verified petition signatures, and log daily results using mobile field tools. We offer immediate hiring turnarounds, paid hourly training, and flexible field shift schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Door-to-Door Outreach:
Walk assigned residential turf in Lincoln to engage voters directly and present civic initiative information clearly and professionally.
Signature Collection & Verification:
Collect and verify voter signatures on official legal petition documents with 100% precision and compliance with state guidelines.
Mobile Tracking:
Use mobile mapping software ( Numinar ) on your personal smartphone to track completed routes and door logs in real time.
Protocol & Safety Adherence:
Follow all established Field Safety & De-escalation Guidelines to maintain a professional and safe environment on the turf.
Daily Reporting:
Attend brief pre-shift strategy check-ins and hand in completed physical petition sheets at the end of each shift.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Physical Stamina:
Must be comfortable walking outdoors, navigating residential neighborhoods, and standing for 4-6 hour shift blocks.
Technology:
Must possess a reliable personal smartphone with location services enabled to run field software (Numinar). Attention to
Detail:
High accuracy is required—voter signatures and dates on legal petitions must be clear and complete.
Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills with a polite, professional, and civic-minded demeanor.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation to central meeting points/turf locations within Lincoln, NE.
Eligibility:
Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to circulate petitions in Nebraska.
Schedule & Hours:
Shift Availability:
Afternoon, evening, and weekend field blocks available.
Work Type:
Part-time or Full-time (15 to 30+ hours/week available).
Location:
In Person / On the Road (Field-based across Lincoln, NE).
Compensation & Onboarding Process:
Pay Rate:
$15.00 per hour (W-2 payroll processed through ADP).
Fast-Track Hiring:
Qualified applicants will be invited to a brief 15-minute onboarding phone call to review field safety protocols, complete ADP setup, and provision active mobile walk maps so you can hit the turf immediately.
