NYC - Field Organizers

We are a progressive and strong Democratic campaign hiring Field Organizers to supplement our existing operations in New York City. Organizers will assist in both volunteer & paid operations and report to the Program Director. We are seeking a potential applicant with the flexibility to start immediately and the capability to jump into an existing operation and hit the ground running. Responsibilities

• Daily data entry of volunteer & voter outreach
• Ability to recruit and manage a team of volunteers
• Coordinating community presence with community organizations and stakeholders
• Build relationships with community members to raise involvement with the campaign
• Identify volunteers through phone calls, text messages, and other practices including digital outreach and 1:1 meetings This is a full-time position lasting for 1 year.

The pay is $25/hour and consists of a 40 hour work week. Two weeks paid time off is included with healthcare. Metro Strategies is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
