In this role, you will be the face of our organization, engaging with community members through face-to-face communication and door-to-door canvassing efforts. Your enthusiasm and community engagement skills will help promote our initiatives, gather valuable feedback, and foster meaningful connections. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales, marketing, and community outreach skills while making a tangible impact in local neighborhoods. Duties Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned neighborhoods to promote programs, campaigns, or services Engage in friendly, conversational interactions with community members to explain objectives and answer questions Utilize mobile devices to record data, track interactions, and report progress in real-time Build rapport with residents through face-to-face communication and active listening Identify potential supporters or participants for fundraising or community initiatives Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and optimize engagement techniques Maintain a professional appearance and represent the organization positively during outdoor work hours Requirements Prior experience in canvassing, field sales, or community engagement preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with diverse audiences Experience in customer service, telemarketing, or face-to-face negotiation is a plus Ability to walk extensively outdoors and work in various weather conditions Demonstrated experience supervising or leading small teams is advantageous Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry and communication purposes Outgoing personality with a passion for community involvement and outdoor work environments Join us as a Canvasser and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to making a difference!
