Purpose:
Help the American Red Cross recruit volunteers by distributing flyers and promotional materials throughout your local community. Your outreach will raise awareness and encourage others to join our lifesaving mission.
Responsibilities:
Visit local businesses and community spaces such as coffee shops, libraries, pizza shops, community centers, and public bulletin boards. Distribute and post flyers in visible, approved locations. Represent the Red Cross positively and professionally when interacting with the public. Report weekly on locations visited and any feedback received.
Time Commitment:
Flexible schedule — minimum of 4 hours once a week.
Qualifications:
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable engaging with the community. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow Red Cross outreach guidelines.
Requirements:
Must have access to reliable transportation to travel to designated locations.
Training Provided:
Red Cross Volunteer Orientation. Guidance on recruitment messaging, approved materials, and community outreach expectations.
