Commission-Based Petition Gatherer Urgency Statement (Rhode Island Petition Campaign): This is a strictly time-limited field campaign running only from June 30 through July 10 . There is no extension and no additional collection window beyond these dates. During this short period, the team is responsible for securing 7,000 valid signatures , requiring consistent daily output and a high level of focus from every canvasser. Because of the compressed timeline and signature goal, we are only seeking highly motivated, experienced, and dependable field workers who can perform at a strong pace, stay consistent under pressure, and commit fully for the entire duration of the campaign. This is not a casual or flexible opportunity—success depends on urgency, discipline, and daily execution.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking motivated and dedicated individuals for the role of Petition Gatherer. For this specific campaign, you will be collecting signatures to help get Republican candidates on the ballot. This is a commission-based position, and you will earn $10.00 for each verified signature you collect if validity is above 75%. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in the political process while earning competitive income.

Responsibilities:

Actively approach and engage with members of the public, presenting them with the specific campaign and cause. Clearly and confidently explain the purpose and importance of the petition, answering questions and overcoming objections. Encourage individuals to sign the petition, ensuring that their information is filled out correctly, completely, and legibly. Ensure all signatures are valid, accurate, and collected in compliance with legal and campaign requirements. Maintain accurate and organized records of collected signatures for verification and reporting. Work collaboratively with team members and campaign leadership to maximize signature collection and campaign success. Stay informed on the purpose of the petition, relevant policies, and campaign updates in order to provide accurate information to the public. Represent the campaign with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity at all times.

Requirements:

Prior experience in petitioning, canvassing, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong persuasion skills with the ability to remain professional and respectful in all interactions. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a performance-driven environment. Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and travel to different locations if necessary. Strong ethical standards and compliance with all applicable laws and campaign rules.

Compensation:

You will earn $10.00 per verified signature collected if validity above 75%. Any fraudulent signatures will result in immediate termination and permanent blacklisting from future campaigns.
