Job Overview We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Canvassers. In this role, you will engage with the community to promote our initiatives, gather support, and raise awareness through direct interactions. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for connecting with people. This job is hourly based but you will also get commision per qualified lead. Use of a personal vehicle may be required as part of this job. Duties Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage with community members and promote our causes. Utilize effective communication skills to present information clearly and persuasively. Build rapport with potential supporters and answer any questions they may have. Collect data and feedback from interactions to help improve outreach strategies. Assist in fundraising efforts by encouraging donations and support for various initiatives. Negotiate terms of support with potential donors or volunteers when necessary. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve outreach goals. Maintain accurate records of interactions and report back to supervisors regularly. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, sales, telemarketing, or fundraising is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships. Experience in supervising teams or leading outreach efforts is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance community engagement. Familiarity with marketing strategies and techniques for effective canvassing is beneficial. Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a collaborative environment. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel within designated areas. A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection gracefully are essential traits for success in this role.
