ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez represents Washington's 3rd Congressional District. She is a small business owner and mom of a toddler who flipped a Trump +4 district by showing up everywhere, actually listening to people, and focusing on the real-world problems of working people. Marie For Congress is one of the most successful House campaigns in the country, developing and deploying innovative strategies in some of the nation's most competitive terrain. Marie for Congress is seeking a full time Canvass Coordinator to help lead and direct voter outreach efforts in an effort to send Marie Glusenkamp Perez back to DC to represent Southwest Washington.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Canvass Coordinators will be crucial to Marie for Congress's efforts to reach, persuade, and mobilize voters in order to re-elect Marie Gluesenkamp Perez to Congress. Canvass Coordinators will report to the Field Director. This job is a full-time, campaign cycle position, with an end date of November 5, 2026. Evening and weekend work will be required, particularly as we get closer to the 2026 General Election. Responsibilities Canvass Coordinators will be responsible for: Training and mentoring a growing team of political canvassers to participate in direct voter contact in pre-assigned regional turfs. Monitoring and evaluating canvassing performance, providing feedback and support to political canvassers. Learning to use and navigate campaign tools like VAN and MiniVAN. Lead by example by engaging in direct voter contact through weekly canvassing. Monitoring daily metrics, track productivity, and provide quantitative and qualitative reports to the Field Director. Collaborate with Field Director on overall campaign objectives and providing political canvassers with appropriate candidate messaging.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Be goal-driven, detail-oriented, a problem solver, and determined to send Marie Gluesenkamp Perez back to Congress. Have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate fast paced situations tactfully. Ability to walk for extended periods in various weather conditions Have a current driver's license and car. Ability to work outside of traditional office hours, especially leading up to Election Day. Previous experience with political campaigns either in paid or volunteer positions is encouraged but not required Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
