ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez represents Washington's 3rd Congressional District. She is a small business owner and mom of a toddler who flipped a Trump +4 district by showing up everywhere, actually listening to people, and focusing on the real-world problems of working people. Marie For Congress is one of the most successful House campaigns in the country, developing and deploying innovative strategies in some of the nation's most competitive terrain. Marie for Congress is seeking a team of Political Canvassers to execute a strong voter contact program in an effort to send Marie Glusenkamp Perez back to DC to represent Southwest Washington.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Political Canvassers will be crucial to Marie for Congress's efforts to reach, persuade, and mobilize voters in order to re-elect Marie Gluesenkamp Perez to Congress. Political Canvassers will report to the Field Director and Canvass Coordinator. This job is a campaign cycle position. Schedules are flexible. Evening and weekend work if preferred, particularly as we get closer to the 2026 General Election Responsibilities Political Canvassers will be responsible for: Engaging in direct voter contact through weekly canvassing Meeting strict daily metrics Accurately collecting and logging data on voter preferences using phone-based apps Reporting hours and reflecting on canvassing activities after each shift Conducting yourself in a friendly and respectful manner Qualification and Requirements Passion for electing Democratic candidates Must have a valid driver's license and reliable access to a car Must have a working smartphone Unrestricted by walking consecutive hours in a variety of weather conditions Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Prior canvassing or political campaign experience is preferred but not required What We Offer $23 per hour in competitive compensation Flexible shift scheduling based on your availability.
