We are seeking an experienced HVAC Solutions Consultant to partner with commercial customers in identifying facility challenges and recommending customized HVAC service, maintenance, retrofit, and replacement solutions. This role combines technical expertise, relationship management, and business development to help clients improve system reliability, efficiency, and performance. What You'll Do Serve as a Trusted Advisor Develop relationships with facility managers, property owners, building engineers, and key decision-makers. Learn each customer's operational goals, budget considerations, and facility requirements. Provide expert guidance on HVAC equipment, maintenance strategies, energy efficiency improvements, and system upgrades. Act as a consultative resource throughout the customer lifecycle. Identify and Develop Opportunities Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and market research. Build and manage a robust pipeline of commercial opportunities. Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance agreements, equipment replacements, retrofits, controls upgrades, and energy-saving solutions. Expand relationships within existing customer accounts. Assess Building and System Needs Conduct site evaluations and facility walkthroughs. Analyze HVAC system performance, maintenance history, and operational challenges. Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with technical teams to develop solution recommendations. Design and Present Solutions Develop customized proposals tailored to customer objectives. Prepare project estimates, service agreements, and solution presentations. Clearly communicate financial, operational, and energy-saving benefits. Present recommendations and support customers throughout the decision-making process. Collaborate with Internal Teams Work closely with service, installation, estimating, and operations teams. Coordinate project scopes and customer expectations. Ensure solutions are accurately developed and successfully executed. Support a seamless transition from consultation through project completion. Drive Business Results Achieve revenue and growth objectives within the assigned territory. Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity tracking, and customer records. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies. Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and customer retention efforts. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sales, mechanical systems sales, facility services sales, or a related consultative sales role. Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, maintenance programs, building automation systems, and energy-efficiency solutions. Strong ability to assess customer needs and develop value-driven recommendations. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proven success generating new business and expanding existing customer relationships. Experience utilizing CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory. Why Join Kelso Building Services?
