Join EICAP's Energy Assistance Team Job Title:
Energy Assistance Specialist (Idaho Falls & Rexburg)
Location:
Idaho Falls or Rexburg Office Position Type:
Temporary (4-6 months), 40 hours per week Do you want a job where your work has a direct impact on families in crisis? As an Energy Assistance Specialist with Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership (EICAP), you'll help households who are struggling to keep their utilities connected. You'll guide clients through the application process for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and provide compassionate, professional support to those who need it most. What You'll Do Support Families in
Need :
Assist clients with applications and documentation to prevent utility shut-offs.
Provide Phone & In-Person Assistance :
Answer questions and guide clients with professionalism and empathy. Work as Part of a
Team:
Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and community partners to ensure timely service delivery.
Maintain Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive client information in accordance with policy.
Stay Organized:
Manage your time and workload within program schedules.
Optional Outreach:
Participate in outreach activities to raise awareness of our energy assistance programs. What You Bring High school diploma or GED required. Experience in customer service or public-facing roles preferred. Comfort with Microsoft Windows applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
