Commercial Energy Professional Matrix Energy, a leading provider of energy efficiency programs nationwide, is looking for a sales professional with exceptional people skills to provide sales, customer enrollment and customer support in our continuously changing and fast-paced environment. As a member of the Commercial Direct Install outside sales team, a Commercial Energy Professional will work selling energy efficiency programs to reduce costs and energy usage to business customers, exclusively. Responsibilities include prospecting for qualified non-residential customers, conducting energy assessments, developing solutions for existing HVAC systems, presenting proposals and creating relationships with new customers for the electrical & gas utility program design. Matrix Energy Services offers an excellent benefits package, a highly competitive total compensation plan (base salary + commission) that can easily reach +$75,000 annually. This is a commissioned sales position with weekly goals. To achieve these goals, you must educate customers on how they can save energy in their business and reduce their utility bills. Knowledge of the energy field is preferred.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proven ability to conduct successful cold calls and generate leads Provide information to customers on available utility incentives and program details Prepare and present proposals that recommend energy efficiency and conservation measures, provide customer costs and incentives, and then sell the value proposition to the customer Maintain strong ongoing communications with customers to assure customer satisfaction Report accurately and describe activities in the field and monitor progress towards program goals Meet or exceed set proposal and sales objectives Responsible for representing the company in a professional manner and abiding by all safety and employee guidelines Conducts energy audits of non-residential buildings to identifying existing HVAC systems Complete walk through energy assessments of properties that identify key natural gas and electric saving opportunities Build quick rapport with utility customers; initiate conversations with customers regarding energy usage Clearly explain and articulate energy assessment findings to building owners and facility managers including explanation of energy efficiency rebates & incentives available in their area Respond to general utility customer service inquiries and explain other energy rebate offerings and services to commercial customers. This could include showing customers short videos on Matrix's company website. You will excel if…. Qualifications :
