We are seeking a Senior Consultant to take a leading role in providing energy advisory services as we continue to expand our project portfolio. This opening provides the opportunity to be meaningfully engaged with a range of energy advisory projects, including: Thermal power solutions, including simple cycle, combined cycle and fuel cells Energy master planning Feasibility studies (techno-economic) Data center power solutions Renewable energy and storage solutions Decarbonization planning Technical due diligence The desired candidate should have experience across multiple generation technologies and will have direct experience in delivering projects within at least three of the categories listed above. Demonstrated abilities include a broad understanding of energy solutions, and understanding their applicability to project objectives. Experience consulting in advisory and due diligence will be especially highly regarded.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead client engagements, and be able to comprehensively analyze, and clearly articulate energy solutions to a range of audiences Exhibit a solid understanding of key drivers in energy solutions and their application and implications for project design and delivery, including, sustainability, cost, reliability. Collaborate with our technical leadership, client account managers, and sales professionals on pursuits of strategic importance. Manage client relationships to ensure all expectations are understood and met. Work with the broader Jacobs team as necessary to ensure stewardship of positive client relationships, including active involvement in the resolution of any client concerns. Oversee assigned projects to minimize risk and adhere to project budget, schedule, scope, and quality, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise. Manage internal Jacobs teams as well as external subconsultants and contractors. Lead in identifying, developing and pursuing business opportunities with existing or new potential clients. #epjobs #naepjobs #LI-CC1 Here's what you'll need Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Engineering or a similar field. At least 8 years of design, consulting, or project development experience. Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships, and win work, and then deliver innovative solutions providing value to both the client and provider. Demonstrated ability for higher-level strategic, exploration, concept, and development planning for energy projects, including knowledge and application of new and emerging technologies. Demonstrated skills in concept and developed design optimization programs to guide sound technical guidance for decision making. Effective presentation, communication and technical writing skills. Experience and understanding of multi-disciplinary project delivery teams. Comfortable and effective working independently, as well as leading and collaboratively working in cross-functional teams with multi-levels of the organization including owner's personnel and third-party engineers and contractors.

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $170,400.00 to $223,725.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
