We provide a comprehensive blend of medical (80%) and cosmetic (20%) dermatological care. As we continue to expand, we are thrilled to welcome a new, highly qualified Physician Assistant to our team in January 2026. Because local patients often face 3- to 6-month wait times for skin checks and acute dermatological care, our new PA's wide-open schedule presents a massive opportunity to serve our local community and referring providers with immediate, high-quality care. The Role We are seeking a highly motivated, well-connected, and polished Part-Time Physician Liaison to drive our primary care referral network. Your primary objective will be to introduce our new PA to local Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), Pediatricians, and Urgent Care centers, ensuring they know we have immediate availability for their patients. You will act as the face of Essential Dermatology in the field, building relationships with referral coordinators, office managers, and physicians. Ideal Candidate Profile The "Golden Rolodex": You are a former or current pharmaceutical, medical device, or specialty medical sales representative.
Local Expertise:
You have pre-existing relationships with medical practices, office managers, and gatekeepers in the Natick, Wellesley, Framingham, and Needham areas. Experience within the Mass General Brigham (MGB), Newton-Wellesley, or Beth Israel networks is a massive plus.
Independent Executor:
You do not need micro-managing. You know how to map a territory, plan a route, get past the front desk, and deliver a concise, compelling value proposition. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily/weekly field visits to targeted PCP, pediatric, and urgent care offices in the MetroWest area. Distribute practice collateral (provider bios, referral pads, contact information) and cater lunches or drop off treats to high-value referral targets. Educate referring offices on our practice's capabilities, insurance acceptance, and minimal wait times. Identify and remove any friction points in the referral process by gathering feedback from local referral coordinators. Maintain a simple tracking log of offices visited and follow-up actions required.
Compensation & Structure Schedule:
Flexible, 10-15 hours per week during standard medical office hours.
