This role involves selling professional medical devices to hospitals, and other healthcare facilities across various regions. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter with a strong background in sales with a passion for the healthcare industry . You should be comfortable working in an inside sales environment and able to communicate medical information clearly and persuasively. You will be responsible for collaboration with the Chief Commercial Officer, managing the full sales cycle via telephone and digital communication channels, from lead generation and product communication to closing deals . This role is vital to expanding the company's presence in the healthcare industry. Mar-Med is positioned for significant growth, requiring long term, reliable talent. We were founded over 30 years ago by a local physician and remain family owned and operated. We pride ourselves on providing a flexible, friendly work environment. Key Responsibilities Identify and contact key decision-makers in hospitals and healthcare facilities (e.g., purchasing managers, department heads, clinicians). Promote and sell medical devices through telephone calls, emails, and virtual meetings, building relationships to drive repeat business. Provide product knowledge and technical support to healthcare professionals, ensuring they understand the proper use and benefits of the devices. Manage the entire sales cycle , including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals. Keep accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system (calls, emails, meetings, etc.). Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes . Assist with phone orders and incoming customer service requests / feedback and complaints as a back up to the lead customer service person, when necessary. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in sales (preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare). Strong telephone and virtual communication skills. Ability to explain clinical medical devices in a clear and compelling way. Experience using Microsoft Applications (outlook, word, excel, etc) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Nutshell) to manage customer interactions. Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Knowledge of healthcare procurement processes, regulations and medical device compliance is a plus. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of calls/emails made per day/week Lead conversion rate Sales revenue generated CRM data accuracy and completeness Compliance with internal procedures
