Position Summary The Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) - Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth while delivering high-quality clinical mobility solutions. This role combines relationship development, clinical evaluation, and sales execution to provide complex rehabilitation technology (CRT) to individuals with disabilities. The ATP partners closely with therapists, caregivers, referral sources, and funding entities to ensure appropriate equipment selection, proper fitting, and successful outcomes. This position plays a vital role in expanding market presence while maintaining exceptional patient care standards. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + uncapped commission Car allowance Company-provided cell phone Employer-paid RESNA recertification Generous paid time off (PTO) Strong administrative and operational support Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development Maintain and grow relationships with existing referral sources and accounts Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities Build strong rapport with therapists, case managers, and healthcare providers Participate in clinics, demonstrations, and community outreach efforts Clinical Evaluation & Equipment Provision Conduct evaluations to determine appropriate rehab equipment needs Recommend and configure complex rehab technology, including: Power wheelchairs Manual wheelchairs Seating and positioning systems Perform equipment fittings, deliveries, and adjustments Ensure equipment meets each client's functional and medical goals Documentation & Order Management Collaborate with internal support staff to obtain required clinical documentation Ensure all orders meet medical necessity and funding requirements Complete sales orders accurately and in a timely manner Customer Service & Support Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and referral sources Respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, and service requests Educate customers on proper equipment use and maintenance Team Collaboration & Education Assist in training customer service and delivery teams on rehab technology products Work closely with operations, billing, and service teams to ensure seamless service Additional Responsibilities Assist with power mobility and equipment repairs as needed Support purchasing activities for power mobility products Stay current with industry trends, funding guidelines, and technological advancements QualificationsRequired Current RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex rehab technology (CRT) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong interpersonal, sales, and communication skills Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience working with PT/OT clinicians and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and VA funding processes Core Competencies Sales-driven with a patient-first mindset Strong clinical problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with documentation and compliance Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and team-focused Why Join Moving Forward DME?
