Independent Medical Device Sales Representative - Albuquerque, NM Premier MedSource LLC Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $150,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Travel reimbursement Flexible spending account Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Overview Premier MedSource is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Independent Medical Device Sales Representative to support and grow our Albuquerque, New Mexico territory . This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering competitive commission-based compensation and meaningful income potential based on territory growth. The representative will focus on innovative surgical products used across multiple specialties. This role combines dependable operating-room case coverage with new business development.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing professional operating-room case coverage Educating surgeons and clinical teams on product features and proper application Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities Building relationships with surgeons, hospitals, surgery centers, supply chain teams, and clinical staff Coordinating product evaluations and supporting hospital approval processes Maintaining consistent communication and customer follow-up Tracking sales activity, opportunities, and territory growth Traveling throughout Albuquerque and surrounding areas as needed The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, confident in clinical environments, and capable of independently developing a territory. Existing relationships with surgeons, hospitals, or surgery centers in the Albuquerque market are strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
Medical device, surgical, biologics, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales experience Operating-room or surgical case coverage experience Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the territory Ability to satisfy hospital credentialing requirements Availability for scheduled cases and early-morning coverage This is a commission-based 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is competitive and tied to sales performance, account development, and territory growth. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced representative seeking to expand their surgical portfolio and build a high-potential territory with the support of a growing medical distribution company.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
