  • Provo, UT.
Utah Valley Specialty Hospital in Provo, Utah is a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) providing advanced medical and rehabilitative services for patients with complex, critical health needs. As a free-standing specialty hospital, we care for patients who require extended hospitalization to recover from serious illnesses or catastrophic injuries, including those needing ventilator/respiratory support, extensive wound care, or ongoing critical nursing care. Our hospital features all private rooms (including a high-observation ICU step-down unit) and a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and rehabilitation therapists.   • treating each patient like family and coordinating closely with referring hospitals and families. Position overview
  • As a Clinical Liaison, you are responsible for evaluating patients for admission, educate referral partners on the value of inpatient rehabilitation, and driving growth within an assigned territory.
You will collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and hospital leadership to ensure timely access to care while representing our hospital with professionalism, credibility, and accountability. What You Bring Active clinical license required: RN, LPN, PT, OT, or RT Experience in a healthcare setting promoting programs or services Strong clinical assessment and admission decision‑making skills Proven ability to build and sustain professional referral relationships Patient‑focused mindset with a high level of integrity and follow‑through Self‑motivated, organized, and accountable for results
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Current, valid, and active drivers' license, proof of automobile insurance, and clean driving record required 3 years healthcare experience preferred (healthcare sales experienced preferred). Current, valid, and active clinical licensure required (RN, LVN/LPN, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Respiratory Therapist)).
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Ability to travel in regional area on a regular basis. Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures. Demonstrates an understanding of patient mix, regulatory requirements, reimbursements, etc., that impact overall hospital operations.
Demonstrates general computer skills including:
data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain quality and safety standards. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for evaluating patients and determining if s/he meets admissions criteria. Prepares development plans, conducts calls, and presents to potential referral sources. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
