Position Summary The Orthobiologics Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and territory quotas while building and maintaining strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, operating room staff, and healthcare professionals. This is a highly consultative, field-based role that requires consistent in-person engagement and frequent operating room presence. The Orthobiologics Sales Specialist serves as the clinical and technical expert within the orthobiologics portfolio, supporting surgeons in the OR and driving adoption of Arthrex biologic solutions. Success in this position requires advanced clinical understanding, strong sales execution, comfort in open surgical environments, and the ability to build long-term professional partnerships. Key Responsibilities Revenue & Territory Performance Achieve and exceed assigned sales objectives and territory quotas Develop and execute strategic territory business plans Represent Arthrex Green Bay as an authorized independent agency of Arthrex Implement effective sales strategies to increase orthobiologics adoption Drive cross-selling opportunities across the Arthrex portfolio Surgeon Engagement & Clinical Support Consult surgeons in the operating room regarding orthobiologics procedures and product utilization Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Arthrex orthobiologics portfolio and associated indications Support procedures and ensure appropriate product preparation and usage Educate surgeons and OR staff on product updates and clinical applications Stay current on anatomy, surgical techniques, and industry trends Account Management & Business Development Establish and maintain strong professional relationships through consistent communication and in-person appointments Identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions Communicate product updates, portfolio changes, and educational opportunities Address and resolve account concerns promptly and professionally Identify and target new business opportunities within assigned territory Strategy & Market Awareness Collect competitive intelligence and monitor market trends Participate in sales meetings, product trainings, and professional association events Develop and execute structured 30-60-90-day territory action plans Maintain ongoing development in sales skills, product knowledge, and clinical expertise Compliance & Professional Standards Maintain strict adherence to Company compliance standards and Code of Conduct Protect confidential information and company assets Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations Maintain required certifications for hospital access (Reptrax, Symplr, etc.) Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree required Experience Minimum of 3 years of orthopedic experience; orthobiologics experience preferred Prior medical device sales experience preferred Demonstrated success building relationships within orthopedic and sports medicine markets Working knowledge of orthopedic procedures and operating room protocols Comfort working in open operating room environments Core Competencies Strong sales acumen and competitive drive Advanced ability to learn and apply clinical and technical information Effective communication and presentation skills Time management and organizational discipline Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced surgical environments Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills Self-directed with high accountability Commitment to compliance and ethical standardsSimilar jobs in La Crosse, WI
