- oriented Makerspace ("Phoenix Forge").
This 22,500-square-foot facility is open to the public as well as college students, faculty, and staff of the Maricopa County Community College District. Under general supervision by the Program Manager, the Part Time Member Services Specialist is stationed at the front desk of our makerspace to greet members, help them register, provide information about the makerspace and our classes, perform cashier duties, assist with records management, help to maintain schedules, aid in keeping the facility clean (and sanitized), provide the occasional tour, and perform other administrative duties as needed. May be asked to assist members with tool checkout. This position may also be trained to provide support for members using 3D printers, laser cutters, screen printing equipment, textile/quilting equipment, and related tools. In general, this position provides intermediate-level administrative and facility support performing work requiring a moderate knowledge of policies, procedures, processes, and software under general supervision. Outside of their scheduled work hours, this position will have free access to makerspace equipment and tools (after appropriate safety training), and access to makerspace equipment training classes. - Front desk duties that include: Greeting members (students, faculty, college staff, and public), registering new members, records management, providing facility and class information, cash handling for memberships and retail sales, occasional facility tours, class schedule maintenance, assistance with tool checkout. 15%
- Schedule maintenance and administrative duties as assigned. 10%

- Additional assigned duties will vary depending on skills and aptitude of employee.
