Job Description

The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to lead Association-wide membership growth, engagement, and operational excellence. Working closely with branch and Association leaders, you'll develop high-performing membership teams, strengthen best practices, and help create welcoming environments where more people can connect and belong. If you're passionate about developing people, driving results, and strengthening communities through exceptional leadership, we invite you to join our team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Five or more years of progressive leadership experience, with YMCA membership team leadership experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in membership acquisition and growth within a membership-based organization required. Experience managing multiple locations, departments, or business units preferred. Success developing people and building high-performing teams. Demonstrated ability to grow membership, strengthen member engagement and retention, and improve the member experience. Strong communication, project management, and relationship-building skills. Passion for strengthening communities and helping people thrive. Commitment to the YMCA mission and values.
