Overview Join our dynamic team as a Member Services Representative/Teller, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment for our members. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling financial transactions. Your proactive approach will support our members' financial needs, promote our products and services, and uphold the integrity of our financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in banking and financial services while making a positive impact on our community. Duties Greet members warmly and assist with their banking needs in a friendly, professional manner Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other cash transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering skills Promote and upsell banking products and services such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet member needs Manage cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring proper debits & credits, cash management, and reconciliation at shift end Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring suspicious activity and following established security protocols Support loan origination and processing activities by gathering necessary documentation and verifying information Build strong relationships with members through personalized service and effective relationship management strategies Other duties as assigned Experience Previous experience in retail banking. Training provided for the right candidate Familiarity with financial software systems used for transactions and account management Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling accuracy, and 10 key typing proficiency Proficient in use of a personal computer and Microsoft Office Products Knowledge of financial sales techniques, upselling strategies, and customer relationship management tools Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining compliance with security standards such as fraud prevention protocols Must be able to pass a background check and credit check Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering outstanding service while advancing your career in the financial industry!
