Job Description

What You'll Do:
Creates a positive first impression for branch visitors by greeting them and maintaining a clean and organized entrance/lobby area. Ensures WOW Member Experience standards are achieved by contributing to a positive member service culture. Log in and track each member who needs assistance, and ensure the timeliness of their receipt of service. Establish rapport with members to determine service needs informs member of necessary documents required to process their requests and clearly communicates needs to MSR to reduce meeting time. Identifies "emergency" situations where additional staff is needed to assist members and maintain the workflow. Reports any slowdowns in providing service to members to appropriate member of management. Performs basic Member Service functions such as check orders, Debit card orders, account maintenance/transactions, and notary service. Ensures that additional products and services are provided to members to meet or exceed cross-sell goals and increase member product penetration. Ensures that brochures, rate boards and other marketing materials are current, appropriately stocked and available to members. Assists branch with operational functions such as audits, reports, and other assigned projects. Maintain member confidence confidential and protects credit union operations by achieving and continuing knowledge of all products and services offered by the credit union. Demonstrates teamwork by exhibiting the following: Contributing to team effort, initiative, dependability, positive attitude, good attendance, tact, and diplomacy. Complies with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

What You Need To Succeed :
Job Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Six (6) months of customer service, retail, hospitality, financial services, administrative, or other related professional experience.
Preferred Education, Certifications & Experience:
Previous financial institution or retail banking experience. Knowledge of teller operations, branch procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Knowledge of credit union products and services. Cash handling experience.

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and services. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative, dependability, tact, and professionalism.
