Job Description

Position Summary The Member Associate (MA) is responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, teller checks, money orders, and cash advances. As a Member Associate, you are responsible for assisting with the direction and administration of Branch member service and new account opening. The Member Associate performs most complex Teller functions as needed, and balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. You will ensure that members are promptly and professionally serviced and that all operational support functions are accurately performed in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as adherence to governmental regulations. Member Associates also perform specific assigned back office duties and assists with other various duties as required.
Salary Range Base Annual Salary Range:
$39,300 ($18.89/hour) - $48,510 ($23.32/hour) The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Qualifications/Experience Professional appearance, dress, and attitude. Good math and typing skills. Good communication skills. Related Customer Service experience. Basic understanding of credit union operations. Basic understanding of member services and products provided. Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone.
