The Stay and Play Sales Admin is responsible for the administration and overall organization of sales rep. We are looking for a positive, outgoing individual to assists with many daily duties This will include but not be limited to assisting with answering phones in polite professional manner. Responsibilities include the implementation of various strategies. This will include duties requested by the Stay & Play Rep. This will/could be direct and/or telephone sales, direct marketing communications, advertising, special event promotions and community & municipal relations, etc. The Stay and Play Representative should be enthusiastic, goal driven, competitive and love to succeed. Must possess strong selling skills and a proven ability to close business. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with current and potential clients via phone, email and in-person. Key Responsibilities To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reports to work dressed in proper attire and on time as outlined in the employee handbook. Constantly strive to maintain hotel standards. Respond promptly to requests by the General Manager or other Executive Managers for reports and other assignments. Properly maintain files and accounts. Attend all meetings assigned to the individual. Set up working relationships with other areas of the hotels operations such as Golf Course, Academy, Front Office, Accounting, Catering and Conference Services. Understand the services provided by each department and the responsibilities of key individuals. Work closely with F&B Managers and Golf Professionals to ensure proper communication, planning and efficient execution of each event striving for the highest level quality of product and service to each guest for both golf events and banquets. Sell, organize and coordinate golf outings. Answers all calls/questions. Respond to inquiries and give tours to prospective clients. Maintain close contact with all clients to assure smooth execution of stay and plays and follow up. Achieve and maintain a customer relations environment that insures customer's happiness and stability. Check guest folios to ensure packages have posted properly. Complete group leader and member contact information and complete system setup requirements. Offer additional value-added features to all guests within booking process and during their stay as appropriate. Collect all required deposits. Confirm billing details and receipt of payment for services. Contact group leader within one week after stay to receive feedback Annually contact all past guests and book return visits offering packages and promotions as they are available. Follow policies, procedures and standards as detailed in training manual and employee handbook. Observe and practice safe working habits. Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Education & Experience:
College degree preferred or equivalent education and experience 1-2 Years successful sales experience. Golf knowledge preferred. Physical Requirements Lift 10-30 pounds Minimum 30% standing Requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift Movement
