GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing front desk operations, which include animal adoption counseling, data entry, other clerical and computer support, greeting visitors, processing incoming donations, answering and directing phone calls, and assisting customers with the adoption process.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18-years-old Able to work at least 20 hours per week Available to work flexible hours. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 12-7 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Possess excellent customer service skills, treating everyone with kindness and respect Required to pass a background check and drug test
Working Conditions:
Work is performed at an animal shelter. There is potential exposure to zoonotic diseases, dangerous and fractious animals, high noise levels, hazardous chemicals, anesthetics, and sharp objects.
