Job Description

Hourly, Seasonal full time and part timeJob Summary:
Work directly with the Ambassador Leadership Team to exceed the member and guest expectations as a Club Ambassador. As a Club Ambassador you will assist in daily operations at various levels by attending to the needs of our Membership Service Department, Spa, and Outdoor Pursuits areas. You will provide members with instruction, direction, and guidance on a variety of activities in the 3 areas. Ensure our members experience is inviting, clean, and organized for their enjoyment as well as the overall operation of the facility. Anticipate the needs and wants of the membership while exceeding all expectations.Essential Function:
Employees of Tahoe Beach Club ensure the highest level of service to members and their guests by providing personal, gracious, and professional service.Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Experience:
- Customer service experience
- Excellent decision making skills
- Effective listening, interpersonal, and guest service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft
- Effectively handles multiple concurrent tasks while meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and providing excellent customer service
- Acquire working knowledge of club policies and guidelines outlined in the Club's employee handbook
- Experience and knowledge of Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas a plus
- High energy level
- Provide consistently exceptional service to all members and guests as their first and last point of contact
- Facilitate member requests as outlined in the member services program and anything else within reason
- Provide club information to members and guests
- Make members feel welcome by using their names and interact with every member
- Record and report member or guest incidents and glitches including rules violations and complaints
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, coordinate appointments, and make reservations
- Attend to various member and guest needs, including coordinating spa treatments, fitness services, outdoor excursions, special events, and transportation
- Help maintain beach and pool facilities through supplying clean towels, organizing furniture, and offering additional amenities as needed
- Maintain the appearance of the spa reception, spa retail, an fitness center areas while promoting those services to members
- Stock and maintain supplies at the pool, beach, spa, lockers rooms and fitness center
- Welcome and assist spa guests and attend to their pre and post treatment needs
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Requires standing, walking, bending over, stooping and lifting
- The setting may be noisy and cluttered at times
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods
Licenses:
- CPR, first aid, and AED certificate are preferred.
