About the Role Family RV Association (FRVA) is a national membership organization serving RV families across the United States. We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-service-focused Part-Time Membership Assistant to support our Membership Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-driven environment, and can accurately manage member information using a membership management system. Job Summary The Part-Time Membership Assistant provides day-to-day support to FRVA members and the Membership Department. Primary responsibilities include answering member calls and emails, processing membership transactions, maintaining accurate records in CRM, fulfilling membership materials, and assisting with general administrative duties. This is a highly member-facing position requiring excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Member Services Answer inbound member phone calls and respond to emails and voicemails. Assist members with questions regarding membership benefits and eligibility. Assist with new memberships, renewals, expirations, and account updates. Help members access and navigate their online accounts and member portal. Provide friendly, patient, and professional service to FRVA members. Escalate complex member concerns to the appropriate staff member or supervisor. Administrative & Program Support Create, update, and maintain accurate member records in our CRM. Process membership payments, renewals, and approved account adjustments. Update addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, RV information, and other member information. Document member interactions, questions, and resolutions in the CRM. Maintain accurate records to support departmental reporting and member follow-up. Assist with Tire Program invoices and other member benefit program documentation. Assist with the Help Desk ticketing items. Assist with special projects, mailings, and membership initiatives. Essential Functions The successful candidate must be able to: Provide exceptional customer service by phone and email. Work efficiently and accurately within CRM or a similar membership/CRM system. Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed member records. Manage multiple tasks and priorities. Communicate professionally with members, coworkers, and supervisors. Work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Maintain confidentiality when handling member and payment information. Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills. Professional written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable learning and navigating computer-based systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Dependable, organized, and team-oriented. Positive and helpful approach when assisting members. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of customer service, call center, membership services, administrative support, telemarketing, or sales experience preferred . Experience with CRM, association management, or membership management systems is a plus.
